Prof. TAKATA Hyoe gave a lecture at Aizu Gakuho High School on February 20, 2026

On February 20, 2026, Prof. TAKATA Hyoe from the IER visited Aizu Gakuho High School. He gave a brief lecture to second-year students and discussed Fukushima’s reconstruction with them.

Prof. Takata explained the mechanism of ALPS and tritium levels in coastal water around Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Plant. It provided a good opportunity for the students to think about how to make their own decisions based on scientific information.
